I’ve had my Fitbit charge 2 for just over a year and I wear it everyday. Today the screen all of a sudden had become pixelated but there are no cracks in the screen. I am very upset if I have to keep buying a new Fitbit every year.

I can only see a bunch of white lines throughout the screen.

My Charge-2 has died as well ! Working fine one day the next day no display. I attempted to reset it per Fitbit approved and authorized procedure with no success! The only sign of life, on back side one green light remains on so bright it lights up a dark room! I agree with Nickstaz comment, do we have to purchase a new Fitbit annually? Based on the many similar posted complaints, the Fitbit product requires some serious quality and reliability assessments! Fitbit if you expect loyal customers you must provide permanent non-reoccurring solutions to your customer experienced problems!

Hi Degman,
Fitbit did get in touch with me and is willing to offer a maximum of 25% off purchasing a new product. Unfortunately as a college student I do not have $100 to spend on something I was not planning on buying. It seems ridiculous that they’re still trying to profit off of their mistakes... I hate to say it but I will not be purchasing another Fitbit for awhile, which is a bummer since I wear it everyday and rely on it to wake up in the morning.

Hey Nickstaz
i would respond back to Fitbit and tell them that as a College Student on a very fixed income that they should as any world-class product supplier provide you a new Fitbit free of charge! No questions asked!
As you and many many others have indicated Fitbit is selling defective products and expect the customer to finance their lack of corrective actions across all their product lines! Let’s see if Fitbit has in them to provide a world-class product and stand behind it!

Hi Degman,
Someone finally replied to my email (not the same person who emailed me prior). They basically tried to beat around the bush and not take blame. They’re also not trying to work with a college student or better their image. Here is what they said:
“We appreciate you for getting back to us and sharing your thoughts about our warranty policy. We apologize for the experience you've had with your trackers.
We'd like to share with you that we are always looking for ways to improve our products and services and can assure you that all our products go through stringent testing to ensure durability. However, due to some factors that are beyond human control, materials that these trackers are made of also reaches its limitation.
Know that your experience has been taken into account for we want to continuously improve our Fitbit products and services to provide better customer experience.
Your understanding in this matter is well appreciated. Let us know if you have inquiries.”

Fitbit is responding with no-action comments! If they are truly a world-class producer of health related products they must stand by their products. What will Fitbit do for Nickstaz who is a College Student with a very limited income and has purchased Fitbit based on their advertised performance? Lets walk the talk Fitbit !
