Ever since the last upgrade my Charge 2 will not “all day” sync with my phone. This means I do not get notifications of texts or phone calls and i don’t get all my heart rate data. I have tried restarting my phone and turning my Bluetooth on and off without success. I’d like to try restarting my Fitbit, but i don’t remember how. Also, it appears others have seen the same problem since the “upgrade” and have even tried pairing the device again, but they have to do it every day for it to work. That doesn’t sound like a reasonable solution. Any ideas Fitbit team?
I'm having the same issue with my Charge 3. Rebooted the Fitbit, turned Bluetooth on and off and nothing. Just removed it from the app and tried to re-add it, but it can't connect.
Really getting tired of all the issues when there are so many options.
I have had multiple problems since the most recent Android update. My Charger 2 no longer syncs. I replaced it over the weekend using the app and it synced once. I have tried multiple times to replace it today in the app with no luck. The app says it found my tracker but nothing happens and then I am told it fails.
I have tried to update the firmware, but I cannot find the menus described in the instructions.
Between Windows 10s faulty update and the Fitbit, I am ready to go technologyless. I can get a lot more done.
Does anyone beta test before releasing anymore?
Same issue since Friday. My phone doesn't even recognize my Charge 2 as a bluetooth device anymore! Tried everything. Uninstall/reinstall of app, reset of charge 2, turning bluetooth on and off. App either can't find device or crashes. So frustrating! I think this might be the end of my relationship with fitbit since this is only two months into getting a replacement unit for another one that died suddenly.
So an update: my Fitbit is syncing again with the Bluetooth. I went to settings on my phone and then Bluetooth. I clicked on “forget this devise” and then went back to the Fitbit app. It automatically asked me if i wanted to pair my Fitbit with my phone. I made sure any other Bluetooth devices had the Bluetooth turned off and then re-paired my Fitbit. It worked and is still working! Others have tried this and it has only worked for a day, but this is Day 2 and so far so good. My phone is an iPhone 7. Hope this helps!
Best AnswerI'm having the same problem as well. I have not seen Fitbit reply to any of the numerous messages on this same subject. It would be nice to know if they are aware of the problem and working on a solution or are they just going to ignore all of the complaints?
Best AnswerI had to restart my phone last week because it would not link with my car. When I tried my Fitbit the next day, it worked and continues to work. I hear restarted my phone multiple times since this problem started. I did not receive any notice of a system update.
Best AnswerI just updated my phone to android 10 and, touch wood, the synchronization has been fine since. Sadly that's not an option for everyone as android 10 is still only available on pixel phones I think
Best Answersame here since a week ago, even was on line with support chat while doing it, and then the message from their server popped up "we are sorry but we are having problems with charge 2....etc" not our faults
Best AnswerSame here, ever since the last update, my Charge won't stay connected and I constantly have to turn my Bluetooth off and on. Even when it's connected, the app is slow to update all my info. The update they sent out is more like a downgrade...
I installed an update on my Ionic on Friday and have not been able to get it to sync to my phone since. I have tried everything including unpairing the device, uninstalling the app, turning off Bluetooth etc. What is going on with fitbit and their updates???? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
