The side on the face where you connect the band has broken off. Looks like it has just deteriorated. I only bought the watch end of 2020.
can they be fixed?

Hi @J8123J and @NCOutdoorLady some have glued it, but there is a better solution that some have shared. Go to Amazon and search for "protective band cover Charge 4" and you will see special bands that take the pebble portion of your Fitbit and encompasses it. It lets you keep using the Charge 4 without having to glue it.

Mine just broke today. Not sure if glue could fix. Wonder if newer versions have more durable connections. Plastic is too weak for the stress this part experiences.

Mine broke today as well. Not a good design or quality. This is my second Fitbit. They don’t last very long. I will not be purchasing a 3rd.
