The side on the face where you connect the band has broken off. Looks like it has just deteriorated. I only bought the watch end of 2020.
can they be fixed?

Accepted Solutions

Hi @J8123J and @NCOutdoorLady  some have glued it, but there is a better solution that some have shared. Go to Amazon and search for "protective band cover Charge 4" and you will see special bands that take the pebble portion of your Fitbit and  encompasses it. It lets you keep using the Charge 4 without having to glue it.

Mine just broke today. Not sure if glue could fix. Wonder if newer versions have more durable connections. Plastic is too weak for the stress this part experiences.

Mine broke today as well. Not a good design or quality. This is my second Fitbit. They don’t last very long. I will not be purchasing a 3rd.

For me it was the connection between the fitbit and the band that broke,
after I think about 18 months, so the warranty was void. I guess I thought
seeing it was a band problem they would fix it. Not. I saw someone post
about bands you can get that work, not by fitbit. I bought one on amazon
and it seems to work fine, but I've only had it a couple of weeks. Nike
took us for a ride too when they sold nike bands and then cut off the
online support making the nike band useless. I"ve never bought another
nike product. I'll try another brand of tracker when this fitbit breaks,
too. Maybe the fitbit works but if the band around it is cheap what
difference does it make?
