Broken strap again. Poor quality

Does anyone else have an issue trying to claim for a broken strap. I have been trying to do this for 4 weeks now and it doesn’t progress past 15 percent of the claim. I have bought and paid for 2 Fitbit charge 4 in the past 12 months. The first one the connector broke so the replacement strap was absolutely useless. I gave Fitbit the benefit of the doubt and purchased a brand new Fitbit. After 2 months the strap broke so I used the replacement that had been sent to me in my first claim. A few months later my second strap has broken 😡 and It just sticks on the loading page for filing a claim. I have tried to do this both on my phone and 2 separate laptops and it’s the same each time. What a poorly made product and service from Fitbit. Does anyone know how I can take this further?  I have spent too much money to just let this go again. The product is not fit for purpose.

The worst part of owning a Fitbit is probably the life of the strap/band. Three models later I've decided to call it quits.

You can get packs of several Chinese straps on Amazon for just a few bucks. Sometimes people have unrealistic expectations, such as expecting a part that is subject to constant wear and tear like a rubber strap to last forever. 🙂

If you're breaking so many straps (and connectors too!), maybe double check that you're not wearing it too tight.

I broke one strap after one year. I always wear the tracker, even when I'm sleeping. The strap broke in the middle, where it bends. Never broke the connector. Breaking a connector means you're probably keeping it too tight and pulling a lot.

I agree. I can get those cheap Chinese bands. Cheap activity trackers too. The connectors haven't broken but I wear them as recommended, not too tight, not too loose. The straps have broken spots. But yeah, point taken.
