Can the charge2 give a false reading on calories burned if your elevation changes. I travelled via car for 10 hrs from sea level to 1100 metres and my calories burned were over 5000. How is this possible when I sat all day?

I don't think elevation change can cause this but some people get a lot of steps tracked when travelling in a car due to bumps in the road and these have an associated calories count. Is your step count looking ok?
