In an earlier question I read that to reorder your tiles in the Charge 4 you need to do so in the app. But i can’t find where to do this in the app.
Also the manual does claim you have to “Swipe left each tile to see the complete stat. To reorder the tiles, press and hold a row, then drag it up or down to change its position. View all your stats and more in the Fitbit app” on the fitbit itself. So it seems to me that it can be changed in the fitbit itself.
so my questions are: can it still be adjusted in the fitbit charge 4 itself or should it really be done in the app. If it has to be done in the app, where is this possible I have not been able to find it so far?

In the manual for the charge 4 it says , “Swipe left each tile to see the complete stat. To reorder the tiles, press and hold a row, then drag it up or down to change its position. View all your stats and more in the Fitbit app” is the reordering of tiles solely in the app or is it also on the charge 4 bc I don’t want to have to scroll through things I don’t use

You need to do it in the app. It cant be done from the device it self

I can't find how to do this in the app, do you have any instructions maybe?

I haven't been able to customize this either. I like being able to swipe up to see all my stats but should have the option to remove/add some. I'm not interested in seeing my weight or sleep score when looking for a quick stat check.

@LEED3D you can't reorder/customize the apps on Charge 4 unfortunately.

Seems rather shortsighted to not be able to reorder the tiles. Surely Fitbit could improve this. Trackers are not inexpensive and the app should be able to be programmed to allow for user customization.
disappointing and poor function. Too many tiles and swipes required to get to the weather app.

Hey,
Thank you for responding. However, I find it odd that it does say so in the manual. See quotations from the manual above. I haven't been able to swipe left to see extra stats. And it does say that you can reorder the tiles...

I'd all my vote that this be added.
It can be done any number of ways (on the device--Versa 2 has this, in the app [fine with that!], or even defined by what order you install the apps in [eg: most recent install is the first app]).
My experience and need:
When I first started using the Charge 4 I really liked having Exercise and Agenda on that first screen. Then when the Spotify app was added by the update Agenda has moved to the second screen. I don't want to remove Spotify, but I do want Agenda back, and Weather before Timers and Alarms...

I just got my Charge 4 and thought I was going to love it right off the start but man I was wrong. I already have a love/hate relationship with it and it hasn't even been a full day of wearing it yet. What would make it so much better would be that we could adjust the way we see the "tiles" as they call it. I don't care to see how many stairs I did or some of the other goals like seeing my weight or water. I should have just kept using my Charge 2 since it was so much easier to manage and format of what I saw on the display screens than Charge 4. It also says so in the manual that on the device, you can hold down the "tile" and move them up or down but I've tried that on the device and it doesn't work, maybe I'm not doing it correctly?
Please, get an update so one can arrange what they want to see on their device by making it easier through the app!!!
Making it easier to remove "tiles" from the app like one could do was able to do so with Charge 2. Hoping Fitbit can get another update out and fix that issue. It would also be nice to rearrange the "app" tiles and adjust how those are as well.

Glad I'm not the only one having this problem. It clearly states in the manual that this is possible. I'd find it useful to log water via the device myself. Next update please Fitbit?

I researched the charge 4 before I bought it and it said you could rearrange the tiles. I want that ability. Also the swipe left on a tile doesn’t work either like it says in the directions. Can’t get the Spotify music controls to work, very inaccurate in monitoring sleep and doesn’t measure oxygen content at all. Very disappointed all the way around.

Then why in the heck does the manual in the app say you can rearrange on the device??

Hello guys, I hope you are doing fine.
I am sorry for the delay in response and appreciate the feedback provided. As mentioned previously, there isn't an option to rearrange the apps in the Charge 4.

Hi Alejandra,
Can you give more in-depth information about this. As you can read, most of us are confused as to why the user manual does state that this is possible. Just a 'this is not possible' does not suffice as the manual clearly states it is...

So I am VERY Upset to see that fitbit doesnt care about thacker of us who want to have this feature. I've been loyal to fitbit for years. Upgrading devices, loyal customer even when the are issues, etc. But the statement that this isn't in the works and they are going to "track interest" when the directions indicate it can already be done is unacceptable! I'm currently dissuading people from upgrading their fitbit devices because of this attitude from the company.

Hi, Newbie here,
I've been a 'Charge' owner since the beginning, however I did jump from the Charge 2 to the Charge 4. I would love to be able to rearrange the 'Tiles' on the Charge 4 itself. It would make it that more personal to one's self. I don't understand why it would state it in the literature, but not actually be able to do it? I find this very annoying and frustrating. Please Fitbit can you rectify this. Apart from this I absolutely love it. TIA.

Please put this high on the priority list!! I don’t even use Spotify so not only do I have to see it on my tracker at the very first swipe, I can’t put it at the end, since it won’t allow me to uninstall it. Seems like this would be a very easy update and put FitBit in line with other trackers!

This is super frustrating because I wish I could see weather right away. I’ve had a Fitbit for 10 years - or however long it’s been since they first came out. It seems like there are a few things that make me not want it anymore.
Anyway, Not sure if you noticed this yet, I just found that you can remove apps by going to “All Apps” and unchecking them.
