Can't update or sync Charge 2

I've been trying for a week to sync my charge 2. The time is about 4 hours off. I restarted the fitbit several times. Sometimes it may or may not come back on. Yesterday it took 2 hrs before it came back on after restarting it. I also removed the fitbit connect app from my PC and added it back. Nothing has helped. I tried to update the fitbit but I'm getting the same error message. An Unknown Error Occurred while syncing.

@sbyrd85 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can follow the suggestions here for syncing and these for firmware update.

Hello AlvaroFitbit, I am using my PC. I updated the app to the current version. Every time I restart my charge2 I have to restart it several times before it comes back on. When it does locate my fitbit, I get an error message.

@sbyrd85 thank you for the update and sorry for the delay in mine. 

 

Have you tried using a phone to sync your tracker. It doesn't need to be listed as compatible. Or you could try using a tablet too. Still since the issue persist I have created a ticket so our Support team can further assist you via email.
