Cannot pair Charge 2

Hi there,

I was having syncing issues with my Charge 2 on my android phone. I tried to remove the device and pair it again in the hopes that this would fix the syncing issue, but now I cannot pair the device back to my phone again.

During the pairing phase, it hangs on "Connecting...", and fails to pair the device to the phone.

I have tried restarting the device as well as pairing while plugged in, but to no avail.

For what it's worth, my android version is 9, and the firmware version of the device is 22.55.02

It's certainly possible. However, syncing has always been an issue with fitbits, often for no apparent reason.

As a next step you may want to contact customer support via the following link. They may be able to see what's happening from the server side. If they can't fix it then they can check your warranty status and advise on your options: contact.fitbit.com

A couple more things to try:

  • Restart your phone as well as your fitbit
  • Delete any connection to the fitbit in your phone's bluetooth settings

Hi @SteveH ,

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried restarting both the phone and the fitbit, however nothing I try seems to work.

Is it possible there could be a problem with the fitbit?
