My Fitbit Charge 4 was working when I synced it to an old ipad. Now I'm trying to set up on a Pixel 3. It will locate the device so I put in the 4 digit code but then it gets stuck and simply says "Sorry the setup is taking longer than usual..."
I have the latest update of Fitbit (3.8). I have restarted the phone, cleared the cache, etc. Not sure what else to try!

Hi, @dnafails , you might find some help by checking these tips for setting up a Fitbit on an Android phone. Also, be sure to remove it from the Bluetooth settings on your old iPad or else turn off Bluetooth on the iPad - otherwise the previous set up can block a new one!

@dnafails I'm reading your post different from @Julia_G . Unless you removed your Charge 4 from your account, it is on your account and doesn't need to be set up again. You simply sign in to your Fitbit app with your same email/password. Or am I missing something?

Hi, @LZeeW if the OP has got as far as getting the 4 digits it is already gone from his account and needs to be re-set up (assuming he used same account details.). But even if gone from the account it still could be “captured” by the iPad Bluetooth.
