Somehow my Charge 2 thinks I am male. I am female. I can't figure out how to change it. Suggestions? Thanks.
***Sorry folks I just figure it out, but I can seem to delete this message. Please disregard.

My gender changed from a female to male. There is no place on my dashboard to reset to female. The store told me to remove app and reload. I do not want to lose all my data.

@capermam @JaWat Thanks for stopping by!
@capermam Don't worry about your post as other members may have the same question and this could help them. If you don't want to receive updates from this thread then go to the top part next to the title on the other side you will see a gear icon, click it and click on unsubscribe.
@JaWat Did you try the instructions @USAF-Larry gave in his post? Go to Fitbit.com, log into your account and on your personal information just change the settings to Female.
Let me know how it goes!

@JCDFinance sure we can tell you, but if you look at @AlvaroFitbit's post above yours your you will see a link called personal settings. Click there.
Best AnswerHave you tried logging out/in? I assume you have read the posts above. But im not sure what notifacations say your a female, are they on the app, web, or email?
Best AnswerMy app is responding with a gender as female, while I've triple checked that on fitbit.com it is listed as male. I only saw this when I compared sleep benchmarks - I'm not sure what else is tied to gender within the app. Since it is set correctly within the website, how do I get the app / device to update gender appropriately?
Same problem. Profile online correctly show me as male but app compares me to females my age in sleep. Have updated and saved profile online several times and logged out of the app numerous days but app never updates. Come on fitbit, this shouldn't be hard for a programmer to fix!
Best AnswerI got it to work, but by going through the same steps you're highlighting. I logged out, then logged back in. Still had a problem. Changed it to female. Logged out and back in. Synced the app. Logged out and back in. Changed it to male. Logged out and back in. Synced the app. Lo and behold, it finally updated. It took a day or so for all changes to cascade in the app - the VO2 max tracker updated immediately, but the sleep stats took another day to catch up, for example.
Best AnswerThis isnt working for me... Deleted app and reinstalled and confirmed my profile online is Male yet still showing me as female for heart score.
Best AnswerI was having same problem - profile is correct but gender in app was wrong. Logged out of app and logged back in and that worked!
Best AnswerHappened to me. Login to Fitbit.com, go-to Setting, change the Gender setting.
Best AnswerThank you. Somehow my Fitbit Charge 2 defaults to male every 4 months and I always forget how to change it back.
Best Answer@SpiritFire think of it as the gender is applied to the Fitbit account .not the tracker as the title implies .
So ypuyneed to go to your account settings.
