Hi Guys,
I've had my Fitbit Charge 2 for about 18 months and this is already my second model after being robbed of my first one, and the battery has all of a sudden gone a bit crazy. I charged it whilst at work yesterday and then went out for a run. When I had finished I realised the battery had totally gone so at home I charged it again. This morning I have seen that the battery has gone again. I have cleaned the battery pads but why is it not staying on for long? As said only had it 18 months so surely it would last longer than that.

Hi @Gazzpashruns , welcome aboard! Thanks for trying to clean the battery contacts on your Charge 2 to make it's charge last longer. There are some other tips in this help article: Can I improve my Fitbit device's battery life? that I'd like you to try. So keep an eye on the charge after that and let me know how it goes!
I'll be around!

Hi thank you for the tips. However it’s not helping. I’ve charged the device fully three times today and the battery only lasts for 2-3 hours. It’s only 18 months old so something must be wrong.
Regards

Thank you so much for trying the tips I previously posted, @Gazzpashruns. 😉 Ok, now considering that the issue with the battery of your Charge 2 persists, I have escalated your case with our Support team so they can further assist you.
Let me know the outcome!
