Charge 2 Black screen

I've rebooted. I've followed your instructions on this forum but the screen is still blank. Battery is fully charged. When I put it on charge to reset the screen it  shows a battery icon with ! In the middle of it.

Hi Andrea  I've done as you've requested  and even rebooted, restarted and added the tracker as new again. It was OK for 5 mins and now it's back to having no charge with black screen again. What's the next stage?

I've just had a live chat and went through the problems I'm having and it seems nothing you can do. Offered to send over warranty details but told them not to bother as the fitbit is over 3years so nothing they can do. In the meantime I've now bought a Charge 4. So we'll see how long this one lasts. Thank you, Nicola

To restart your tracker please do the following: Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter. Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely. Your tracker should start charging.

@neill065, it's a shame fitibit doesn't realise their latest firmware is causing so much issue especially the excessive battery drain. I had a good run with mine from April 2017 to March 2021 until it updated to the latest firmware and bricked it. Because it was out of warranty I figured why not take the chance and replace the battery myself. I managed to replace the battery and it still came up with the same issue. What does this tell you fitbit? Giving us instructions to turn off this and that defeats the purpose. Why don't you just listen to us and roll back to the previous firmware or make a new firmware. Is it too hard to ask? Or is it your way to make it eol so that we stupidity go buy a new one. If this is the case you won't be getting my business any more.
