My Charge 2 suddenly went blank despite being fully charged. I tried a reset to no avail and contacted Fitbit who basically told me to buy a new one. This item is only 3 years old and is far too expensive to have such a short shelf life. Does Fitbit stand by its products and their quality? Perhaps it is time to investigate an Apple Watch.

Hi @gmanssa you can read about the warranty here - click - but it's pretty much a standard industry time period. Three years is a good life time for a fitness tracker, no matter what the brand. I have friends who use Garmin and Apple with fewer years' lifespan. These devices work 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are removed for charging, cleaning and band changes. They are tapped and strapped, moved about and used daily. I'm sorry your Charge 2 died, but my Flex and Blaze made it to the age of two. Sales are happening this time of year, so I'm sure you'll find a device that makes you happy.
