Charge 2 Display black

Today the display of my charge 2 is gone. Its only black. Even if I charge it, no battery-icon appears. It does vibrate, and after pushing the button 4-sec-long it vibrates aswell, but I cant see if it restarts properly due to no sight in display.

 

Seems to track all kind of staff correctly when I synchronise with the iOs-App. But I use my tracker as a watch too so its a bit bad that I have to take out my smartphone just to check the clock...

 

Is it a known issue? Got my charge 2 about 2-3 years ago ... think its not a warranty-thing after that long period - am I right? Time for a new tracker tho?
