Charge 2 GPS and Step Counting Issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since last week, when I go for a hike, it is not recording my route on the map correctly and my step count is a little off too.  Last night, according to the map of my hike, I walked 5 miles in the ocean off the Western coast of Africa.  I didn't.  😀  Any thoughts?  My iphone is fine.  GPS works fine on it.  Bluetooth connection is fine.

@PS18 Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your GPS data and step count. Try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
