Since updating a few days ago to Android 11 on my Pixel 3a, my Charge 2 stopped fulling syncing and now won't connect at all to my phone.
I followed literally every trouble shooting step available and have spoken to tech support who were no help as the Pixel 3a is not 'officially' listed as a supported device. All this despite it working perfectly before the Android 11 OS update.
I disconnected the Charge 2 (after a reset) from the phone and re-installed the app but now cannot connect the device at all to my phone! I enter the 4 digit pin but it fails to connect every time.
Has anyone else had the same issue? I hope Fitbit release new firmware or a newer version of the Android app to fix this asap!
Not happy!

I'm having the same problem is my Pixel 3XL. Worked fine till Android 11. Now it fails after entering the 4 digit pin.

Exactly the same problem with my Pixel 3a and charge 2.

Same on my Pixel 2. Worked fine for a few days. Maybe a week? Stopped working completely on 9/16. I thought it might be my older fitbit so I bought a new one last night. Now I'm wondering if that one will even work.

Similar issue with a Pixel 2XL
Detects the Charge 2 but won't connect to it. The Charge 2 can connect to another phone so I think it is a Bluetooth issue with Android 11

Same issue here! After the Android 11 update, my Alta HR will not connect to my Pixel 2 no matter what I do. No other bluetooth devices have issues.

I noticed the following after the Android 11 update to my Pixel 3 XL. My Charge 2 would intermittently disconnect the Bluetooth (BT) while I'm tracking an activity. I would have to wake the screen for a few seconds in order for the BT to reconnect. If the connection doesn't happen, I would have to force sync from the app for the BT to reestablish connection (and on occasion receive a "Sync failed" message while doing so). I've also found that BT would disconnect between 10 - 40 sec after reconnecting. Aside from upgrading to a new tracker with a built-in GPS, this issue has affected my bike distance records as having to wake the screen or do any app interaction during the ride is not ideal or safe.
I have done all the recommended troubleshooting steps as well with no success.

Same! Since updating to Android 11 on my Pixel 3a, my fitbit Charge 2 is struggling hardcore.
Nothing I do to try troubleshooting this resolves it. Can't receive notifications either - not even a "test call notification".
Device name in bluetooth changed from "Charge 2" to "Amazfit bip watch" too.
Can only sync after many attempts and I can't leave the app until it completes.
**UPDATE**
Still not syncing unless I put in a lot of attempts and effort. Have spent a couple hours of my time in help chats with fitbit, and nothing they suggest helps resolve.
Have also reported the issue in feedback to Google.

Same issue on a Pixel 3. I tried everything I could find online to fix it. From resetting bluetooth on/off, clearing the bluetooth cache, restarting the charge 2, restarting my android, deleting the app and caches, redownloading, and it still couldn't sync. Then I unpaired it from my account and it won't pair with any device now, not even on my windows 10 PC where it previously worked.
I also made sure there were no other bluetooth devices on nearby, I tried over a wireless and mobile connection during re-pairing attempts, I've reset the charge over two dozen times. I can get to the point of entering the pin like you, and then it fails.

I have done all the recommended troubleshooting steps as well with no success. Then I decided to take it a step up and reformated my pixel 3a, but it's still not connecting. It keeps on getting stuck at the 4 digit pin stage.

Same here. Pixel 2 upgraded to android 11 and both my Alta HR and Charge 2 are unable to connect. Have gone through all the processes to reset and re-establish connection but nothing works. Might have to drop Fitbit / Android altogether on my upcoming phone upgrade. This **ahem** is ridiculous.

I also have the Pixel 3a and the Charge 2 and I also updated to Android 11. The only problem I'm having is that my heart rate is not updating in real-time on the Fibit app. It shows on the watch itself, but not on the app. The app just shows the resting heart rate and NEVER shows the real-time rate. For me, it seems like this is more related to the newest Fitbit app version -- 3.30, which was updated on September 14.
Oh, and I also deleted my Charge 2 from the app and set it up again without a problem. The four digit code worked just fine.
UPDATE: I just realized that I had an old Fitbit app available, version 3.11, that I had downloaded from an alternative app store many months ago because I started having problems with the Fitbit app after an update. I just installed that version and it's still not tracking my heart rate in real-time, so it appears there is something related to Android 11 that's causing problems -- though it's weird that different people are experiencing different problems, e.g., I'm not experiencing the same issues as the original poster and I have the same phone, Pixel 3a, and the same watch, Charge 2.

This is happening to me too! I have a charge 2 and a pixel 3. Stopped syncing two days ago and it's really annoying! Some random info, like steps are syncing, but nothing else.

Something tells me this is planned obsolescence from Google/FitBit in order to force you to upgrade to newer phones/watches.

I faced the same issue.
Logged into my another phone (iOS) and was able to pair the tracker. After about a day it started syncing with my Pixel XL 2. Since then I logged of from the iOS device and it is working perfectly fine!
Maybe my experience will help someone....
