My husband and I spent the entire day together. He smokes and I don't, so his steps are generally a bit higher. Still my active minutes are at zero. His are at 96. My steps are at 3000?? Something is wrong. The only thing accurate seems to be my sleep. I see posts of people having similar issues but no resolution. Please help.

To clarify, him smoking only matters because i can see him having more steps because he would go outside to smoke every 40min to hour and i didn't join him. This would make for a small difference.
Stride vs steps... he is 6'4, longer stride than my 5'7 which would make more steps in my favor.
Neither of these makes for a 3000 step difference and me having 0 active minutes recorded in a day when over 90 were recorded on his and my daughters and we were together doing SAME activities all day. I'm looking for more technical adv than opinion on this one if possible.

I myself do not see how smoking can make your steps higher.
But they will never match you have different strides
Active minutes. Men burn a lot more calories then we do even doing the same thing. You just cant compare between you two. You cant compare between another women either
Weight, height etc all come into play
