2 days ago I updated the firmware on my Charge 2 and now my Fitbit seems to be possessed. Out of the blue, it just brings up the Notifications On/Off setting and cycles back and forth until the battery dies. I'm unable to break out of the loop, rendering my fitbit unusable. I let the battery drain, recharge it and it seems to work correctly for a few hours and then goes all crazy repeating the cycle. Is anyone else having this issue? I did find a similar topic that was marked as solved, but none of the solutions offered in that link fix my issue.

When you press and hold the button on the Charge 2 it toggles notifications on / off so it sounds like the button is stuck - either physically stuck in, or something's broken inside.
In the hope that it's the former try to see if the button can be freed by gently manipulating it. If that doesn't stop it then it may be broken and your best option would be to contact customer support. If they can't fix it they can check your warranty status and advise on your options.
