Most people are right-handed and most right-handed people where their watch or fitbit on their left hand. When you where the fitbit on your left hand, the button is on the left side of the fitbit and your right hand must cross over the face of the fitbit to press the button to change the screen. However, if you wear it on your left wrist and want the button to change the screens to be on the right (easier for youe right hand and makes more sense, then the screen will be upside down.
Two questions:
Is there a way to rotate the screen ?
Why during the set up do they ask you which wrist you are wearing the fitbt on ??

It also asks which is your dominant hand. Those 2 questions tell if you will be wearing it on dominant wrist, which results in lower sensitivity to help reduce chance of extra steps from dominant hand activity such as brushing your teeth, brushing your hair, etc.
