What company sells their product without all the parts?
I have been frustrated for 2yrs because I cannot use my Charge2. It's been sitting on my desk for 2yrs. Right now it's in the trash.....
I just called CS in Guatemala and spoke with the supervisor "Thelma" about receiving a dongle. Thelma told me, that Fitbit would NOT send me a dongle, so that I could set up my Charge2 and use it.
Fitbit, your corporate officers place far too many obstacles in the way of your customers ....Nor allow us to tell you how to make your product better. But, I suspect you're not in business for your customers.
I'll never buy another product of yours.
So sad !

Hi @Belle7
You never set up the Charge 2? It really depends on how you're trying to set up and sync that makes a difference. Newer computers don't require a dongle. Sorry you've thrown it away because it's a good device.

Hi Silvia,
Thank you for responding.
I've tried every which way to link the Charge2.
My phone is a blackberry and my Mac has bluetooth, but both are more than 10 yrs old.
Neither will link to Charge2. I cannot link to my computer without the dongle.
After calling CS and finding out that Fitbit outsources to a foreign country, I don't want to do business with a company that puts its profits above its country's economy or its USA customers, Fitbit is depriving its USA customer's of a job.
Thank you again,
Belle7

Thank you again Silvia for the reply.
Yes, I know I need the dongle
I know this because I already tried to sync to my Mac, for hours....until I read that I needed a dongle from another customer.
If you will re-read my initial post, I explained that I already spoke to CS to request a dongle be sent to me so I could setup my Charge2, but they refused to send it.
When a company shows callous disregard for their customer's success in using their product....They are NOT worth repurchase, praise or investment.
They inaccurately assume that all customers who purchase their product have the latest devices, but they fail to mention this on their packaging.
Fitbits packaging ONLY states...syncs wirelessly to iphone, android, windows, Mac and pc....ONLY!
Nothing more about the devices, operating system, age, etc......
I have bluetooth on my Mac and other devices sync wirelessly to it.
Fitbit is using deceptive, misleading and false advertising.
If I had the dongle, I could set it up myself. Thank you
