Hi, I cannot find the Charge 2 app anywhere. It seems that it has been removed.
If this is the case, why?
Why fix something that isn't broken? Apart from the obvious greed this company has.
Not all of us can afford to upgrade our phones!
Might as well smash the Charge 2 given there is no app!

Hi @Fletch2470 you using Android or iOS? There is no Charge 2 app, as it's one app for each system. With the recent updates for the apps, the older ones have been removed by Google PlayStore and Apple Store. You need a minimum of Android 8 or iOS 13 to download the current app. If you removed the app you had previously, that could explain why you can't find it now. Sorry this happened to you, but updating their app doesn't make Fitbit greedy.

Cheers for your reply, we shall agree to disagree regarding the morals of those at Fitbit whom are keen for the almighty dollar 😁
There really wasn't any need for them to knock the Charge 2 app on the head.

If you’re just looking for the Fitbit app and you’re on iOS you should be able to install and use the latest compatible version by going to your purchased section in the App Store. I just verified this is possible on the iPhone5 I have laying here.

Hi @Nokorola it may be possible for iOS users to more easily find an older version of the app, but as an Android user, I can tell you it's not possible. I tried with three older devices (tablets and phone) and the app wasn't available. The newest app allows the Fitbit owner to use all the latest features of the app. Without the latest app, many of the features aren't available or are spotty at best. Fitbit moderators have told us this in many posts around the forums. Maybe it will work for you iPhone 5, it won't be as fully functional as with the newest app and a newer phone.

@Fletch2470 I want to reiterate what @Odyssey13 wrote. There is no Charge 2 app. There is one Fitbit app.
What type and model phone do you use? @Odyssey13 listed the current phone requirements. If you use an older Android phone, you can’t get the current Fitbit app. Google removed all older versions. You can get older iOS versions ONLY if you previously owned an older version.
Please tell us the type and model phone you use. I hope we can get you back in business.
@Nokorola If you are still using your iPhone 5, you need to know that it isn’t supported by Apple. You won’t get security updates. A major update was released after your support ended.
