my Sister had the same problem when she got her Fitbit and the band was broken in the package and she got a new band and it worked just fine the bands don’t cost much or if you have a spare band then it should work.

@gjlib @MapleDog33 A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your damaged band. I have created a ticket so our Support team can further assist you via email. Also as @MapleDog33 mentioned you can purchase bands if you wish.

Let me know how it goes.

Hello. I have the same issue. In fact, I received a replacement band after much hassle and the replacement does the same thing. I stopped wearing it for fear that I would lose it altogether. Is it possible to super glue the bands to the device?

I had the same problem and to be honest I can't live without my Fitbit so I went to Target to get one unfortunately that one didn't fit plus it was too much money so of course I went on Amazon and luckily I am so pleased I end up ordering a 15 pack with different colors I put it on and I'm back in business again hope this helps anyone looking at this post

Where can I purchase bands please? There do not seem to be any bands for Charge2 in the Fitbit store and I can't find a genuine Fitbit one on Amazon or any that say the metal is hypoallergenic.

Hi.  I'm now on the second wrist band but my watch has now run out of the 2 year guarantee.  Now the second band has decided to fall off all the time.  I contacted the Fitbit Support yesterday but they couldn't send a new strap because of guarantee running out 6 weeks ago,  also found out there is no Charge 2 watch anymore, discontinued, I wonder why, anyway probably won't be able to buy a new strap as watch is discontinue so why stock straps for a watch that doesn't exist anymore.

Now in desperation to use the watch I have superglued the strap to the watch, working at the moment but I don't know how long it will last.

Also the guy who I spoke to yesterday on customer support flatly denied that there ever was a fault on the Charge 2.

Won't buy a Fitbit again!
