I have loved Fitbit since inception - this is my 3rd one. Battery has NEVER been an issue, but since the last update, i think my Fitbit is ruined. I have gone almost immediately from a 4 day battery life to only an 8 hour battery life. NOT buying another one from this company if that is what i get. No helpful advice in help at all on battery life. Can anyone help or should i go purchase elsewhere? It is not a problem with contact charging..i put it on the charger for 2 hrs - it shows fully charged - this method has worked the 15 months that i have had this device. It just doesnt HOLD the charge.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 battery life and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You didn't specify what you have tried for this issue so try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.
