Charge 2 battery draining quickly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hey Everyone,

I have a charge 2 and I've followed all the prompts regarding the battery to help stop draining my fitbit.

Nothing is working. The battery drains after a full night of charging. Is there something wrong with the Charge 2? Is it fixable?

It was working so well up until about 2 weeks ago and it kept disconnecting from my phone and dying.

Please help!

Hi @AlyssaMichelle, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Let me share with you that the battery of our Charge 2 was designed to last 5 days, but this also depends on how frequently you use all the features of your device. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much.

After following the above information, please check this help article for more tips and recommendations if you haven't already done so. This article includes as restart process that will refresh the device's performance.

Keep me posted, I’ll be right here if you need anything else.

Thank you for the response.

I charged my battery Monday night and put it on yesterday. I just received
a notification this morning that the battery is low, so it isn't even
lasting a full day.

I charge it with the USB into a USB outlet and always have a full charge
before I remove it from the charger.

I've reset it multiple times and it is really frustrating to have to charge
it ever single night. I bought it for tracking runs and workouts, and also
sleep, but now I have to decide one or the other because it doesn't last
that long.

Is it my Charge 2 battery life?
