Charge 2 battery life

So i just got off the phone with Fitbit customer service and apparently fitbit only lasts 2 years so I can just go and dump another $200 because battery life sucks.  Or as the robot-like customer service agent told me i can go buy a competitors model... .sounds like a good plan.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 and thank you for reaching out to our Support team. Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.

Let me know how it goes.

someone needs to explain why the unit stopped all of the sudden... things dont just stop, especially with batteries.. this  seems to be very common issue as you can see on the community chat, coinsides with recent firmware update

It's interesting, since the new firmware update my battery now lasts maybe 4 days. This is with syncing only every other day...

so Fitbit refused to act on this and acknowledge that there is an issue and that all of the people who spend $200 of their hard earned money on this product are out of luck.  Even customer service people would not acknowledge there is an issue.  Now that the national media has finally picked this up, I wonder if anything will change and if Fitbit will do the right thing or will they continue to keep their heads buried in the sand pretending nothing has happened.

Fitbit acknowledged the issue to the media, but what about the customers who paid the money for the product.
