For the last few days my charge 2 is going through all my menu options on its own as if the button is stuck. The display has also started to almost shrink down from the top and bottom. Idk what’s happening I hope it’s not on its last leg...

I’m having the same problem with my Charge 2 constantly turning notifications on and off

I’m having a similar issue. It behaves as if the side button is pressed in and notifications are turning on and off over and over again. Tried reset but didn't help. How can this be fixed?

I found a solution to the problem. The customer support did tell me the device was unrepairable. I've replaced the battery and it is working again. I assume it's a brownout problem with degraded batteries over time. There is a tutorial on iFixIt .
A brownout can occur when the voltage of the battery drops below a certain level. This explains the behaviour that the issue never occurred when the device was fully charged.
I've replaced it with a batterie from eBay. Seach for LSSP411415. That's the kind of battery you want for the Charge2. It was about 9 Euros but if you want to make sure you get a good battery, iFixIt sells one for around 20$ in their store.
