Charge 2 cannot be found

I was having a similar problem to https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Other-Charge-Trackers/Charge-2-Not-syncing-often/td-p/5055614, where my Charge 2 was having issues to sync almost every day. I tried to remove the device and resync it, but the phone won't find the device.

 

Things I tried so far, more or less in order:

 

1) Charging the tracker fully before trying to sync

2) Rebooting the tracker (pressing for 10-15 seconds while charging)

3) Forgetting the tracker in the phone bluetooth settings before trying to sync again

4) Reinstalling the fitbit app on the phone

5) Installing the fitbit app on another phone and trying to add the device there

6) Dowloading Fitbit connect for mac and trying to sync from my computer

 

I don't know what else I can try at this point to make the tracker be found by any phone/computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
