Charge 2 cannot be repaired

I bought a charge 2 less than 2 years ago. A few days back, i noticed that it wasn't capturing the Heart Rate. I then tried troubleshooting - restarting it as recommended. But it didn't work. And then suddenly the display also vanished. Called up customer support at 0008000501057. The lady informed me very politely that Charge 2 cannot be repaired and they could have done something if it was within the warranty period ( 1 year from purchase). But since it was outside the warranty period, the only option I had was to throw it and buy a new one. ( and hope it doesn't develop a snag!!!).

This is ridiculous. I can't think of any other electronic products - mobiles, laptops, PCs and watches which are beyond repair. Am not sure if other purchasers are aware of it? But new buyers, please keep this in mind!!! Purchase a Fitbit product if you can make a new purchase everytime it fails.

@Sidtuli, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Thank you for sharing your experience with your Charge 2. Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.

Let me know how it goes.
