Charge 2 charging issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My charge 2 shows fully charged but after an hour it’s dropped down to low battery.

I though maybe I hadn’t connected it properly but my husbands is doing the same.  We’ve tried different cables and different charging ports but it seems to happen intermittently.

sometimes it takes an hour and others even overnight but when you disconnect it, it either won’t switch on or once disconnected from the power it’s back down to low battery.

@Taikia Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2's battery is draining quickly and thank you for trying different ports and charging cables. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes!

@AlvaroFitbit thank you for your reply, it seems to be intermittent.  I have managed to fully charge it this time, I’ve cleaned the points on the Fitbit and the charger and tried a USB plug.  I’ve decided to start checking the charge via the app instead of looking at the device.

ive noticed it looks charged on the Fitbit and once it’s disconnected it’s straight back to no charge however I get the correct reading on the app.

thanks again for your help 😊
