I've browsed other answers and have done the following to try to troubleshoot but still not working:
1. Tried turning it off, but since I can't see the display, I can't tell if it turned off.
2. I changed the clockface using my desktop account
3. Cleaned the back of tracker and the charger ports.
It is recharging and still logging steps. Green lights on back.
What else can I do?

I have the same problem - and being technology challenged I can’t find my way around supposed interventions as there is nothing specific

I don't see any offers coming from Fitbit to correct the situation. I suppose there is a time period over which the device becomes obsolete. I've had mine 5 years or so and the device had to be replaced - don't recall why, but that was a one-time offer. I did get my husband a Fitbit which he has never used. Time to suggest he give it to me. Interestingly, though I can't see the face, the Fitbit does track sleep and activity; but is otherwise worthless.

Hello @dawn44455 and others and welcome to the Community. The Charge 2 is an older model that was discontinued in 2018. I'm sorry, but I think you have a screen failure that can happen with older devices.

Same for me. This seems to have happened to a lot of people simultaneously. Possibly something to do with the app update.
