I am often finding that despite wearing my fitbit exactly as I should when I do exercise, it manages to accurately capture my increased heart rate and calorie burn, but frustratingly it often doesn't register it as a workout. Often when I do weights it never manages to pick it up due to the start stop nature. So I switched to doing more than 10 minutes of hard cardio at a time, and still it won't even say I exercised that day!
2 weeks ago I did an intense cardio session for a pronlonged period. Heart rate going up was captured just fine, but no 'exercise' was recorded on that day at all. What is going on?
So frustrating! I want to keep a proper log of my workouts.
Thanks

If you will use the exercise app, starting and stopping workout from the tracker, you can be sure entire time of each workout is counted as an exercise session, and name it correctly.
See How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

I have the same issue every single day! Having to manually enter what I’ve been doing when I don’t know if I’m entering calories etc correctly is so so frustrating! I’m glad I’m not alone!
