I've had my charge 2 for about 2 years and it worked so well and hasn't been mistreated when just the past 2 days it wont hold a charge for longer than 2 hours. I've been reading through the forum for a while and did all the steps people have responded with but it still died within an hour. It overheats now too when I wear it and had to take it off after a half hour. Is there anything else I can do? I've turned off the all day sync and all that jazz but to no avail.

Is your green heart rate light staying on or flashing extremely bright? That's what mine is doing and it's killing the battery. I've tried cleaning the charging pins and resetting it, turning the heart rate off and resyncing it, but the light stays on and it loses all battery in under an hour.

Its staying on! I also tried to clean it and everything but it stayed on. I figured that could be part of the reason

My Charge 2 has the same problem, I have also followed all the suggestions. My fit bit is 2 years old is that the life span? I have sleep apnea and love the sleep feature but can't use it.

I took mine off to go swimming and it is doing the same thing. Lights on the back are solid green and it dies in less than an hour. It will not sink with my phone now as well. Anyone have a fix?

I compared my Charge2 to another one. The one that is dying in an hour or two, seems to be missing a clear piece of glass/plastic in the middle of the back over a copper looking piece. The good one is smoothe and the broke one has a roughness on the back, and it looks like there is an inward dimple towards the copper piece. Could be the problem, IDK.
