Charge 2 frozen screen

My fit bit charge 2 has a frozen screen displaying yesterday’s date and time but it still vibrates and charges sending all the data to my phone. BUT I can’t see anything on the screen other than what’s been showing since 7.45 yesterday morning. 

Ive ‘removed’ the fit bit and tried to add it back on again but can’t see the 4 digit number (can feel it vibrate) that’s sent to log in with. 

Any suggestions please. I miss using it!!

I'm having the same problems.  I believe that the program lost contact during an update and froze the screen.  Trying to turn it off and restart doesn't work either.  Have you been able to resolve the problem.  I l logged into the contact screen and there are 27 people waiting.

Hi. Ive not been able to resolve it but by contacting Fitbit they offered me 25% off a variety of their products and 40% of others. I would like to buy the Versa rose gold but even with 25% off, I can buy it for nearly the same price off the high street so really a satisfactory discount. Therefore, not purchasing at the moment, but do miss it!

I did a chat session and they want me to let the fitbit run all the way down and see if that will let me reset it.  I don't hold out great hope for that happening.  It also means I'll have to wait about a week for it to go dead.  I'm thinking I'll need to replace it.
