I’m not sure how to tell if my app has updated recently (iPhone) but I’ve been noticing odd changes with my fitbit and the app. Firstly, the map display on a logged run is far off what I have actually run - straight lines from certain points instead of logging my actual route and nowhere near long enough - also, my fitbit isn’t displaying the stats for my run when I end it like it used to, it immediately reverts back to the clock screen. Finally, my current heart rate is no longer displaying on the app when open, only maybe resting BPM no matter how long I wait. Does anyone have any ideas? The run map and stats is particularly frustrating!
Thank you
I don't have a solution, but I did want to chime in on the post-workout stats thing - that's something that happens intermittently to me as well (reverting immediately to the Run landing screen when I end the run, rather than letting me scroll through the summary stats). It disappears for a few weeks, then mysteriously reappears, and I'll be darned if I can correlate it with anything else like charging the Fitbit, software updates, or anything. It's gotten to the point where I get a little nervous every time I end a run, wondering if I'll get to see the stats (yes, I know they're available on the app and website, but I like seeing the info right away), if I forget to pause first and scroll through.
I sometimes have trouble getting the app to show the current heart rate also; it seems to be more of a problem when the device is having trouble syncing with the phone (common issue with Samsung phones like mine). That one's less annoying, as I don't really have any reason to be looking at real time heart rate data on the app.
