My Charge 2 tracker doesn't show the phone icon when I select the activity...no gps map after workout. I've gone through all the settings on my ios phone to make sure everything is enabled but gps must be turned off in my tracker. I can only get a gps map if I manually start and stop the workout on my iphone.
Any advice?

My cousin, sister, and niece are having no issues with GPS with their Charge 2.
@SharonBeth without knowing if your phone is android or iOS I'm not able to offer much help.
Is it that the GPS does not connect or is the distance off?

Been scratching my head with this one for a little while, some days my Charge2 would log a bike ride quite happily and some days it wouldn't, I was running Strava alongside just to get my distance/pace etc.
Since found that if I open the app on the phone and leave the screen on, then start the activity on my Charge 2 that the two will sync up and I get the phone icon on the watch. I can then put the phone in my pocket on standby and all seems to work and transfer onto Strava as well. Yes I have ten seconds static time at the start of my 'exercise' whereby I'm putting the phone back in my pocket before setting off, but I'm not overly bothered when I'm on a hour's bike ride.

I would try restarting the phone, without opening the Fitbit app. My Charge 3 would connect to Bluetooth long before the phone became usable.
FYI: using the phrase "my phone" does not give us enough info on your phone model for us to help you with "my phone"

Fair point, I wasn't necessarily looking for answers in this instance but seeing that others are having the same issue, I thought I'd share what was working for me.
Sometimes I do have to reboot the phone and sometimes the watch as well before they sync up happily. It's a weird one, I wondered if it was anything to do with power saving whilst the phone was on standby overnight, but if I can work around it relatively easily, it'll do until I get a newer watch.
my phone = Huawei P30 Lite with Android 10, for what it's worth. I'm a pauper 😉 Cheers!

Have you disabled power management for the Fitbit app? Make sure that the Fitbit app is in the background before the phone sleeps?
