Charge 2 keeps turning off

When I press the side button I can get to the bpm page... But if I press it again it goes blank and the lights on the back turn off. It then goes back to my first screen. Is this a sign it's breaking down? It's only two months old

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

I have restarted it but it still randomly shuts down.

@Charlie2348 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 is turning off and for the delay in my reply. Could it be that the battery is draining quickly? Have you timed these shutdowns? What is the battery level after your turn it on? Try cleaning the contacts with a toothpick or toothbrush and then use cotton with rubbing alcohol. Charge it for a couple of hours, restart it again and see how your tracker behaves.

Let me know how it goes!

Was there a solution to this problem.  My device shuts down at least once daily and usually when I am fast walking.  So, I lose step counts and distance.  Really frustrating!  It has nothing to do with the battery level as the power level was 75%.
