The Charge 2 has began to log simple sleep data when not being worn, as short naps. It will register a full night's sleep, with sleep stages, but after removing the device and placing it back onto my wrist afterwards, and before going out for a walk and syncing the device again, it then registers either separate, simple sleep data as 'naps' or it will add time onto my main sleep log, from the night before. When I pick up the device it will show a BPM rating, and again while not being worn. I've tried force stopping the app, updating the software and restarting the device, by holding down the side button down for 4 seconds, which does not restart it. I've included a snap shot which shows the extra 'nap' from today, i.e. when not being worn. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.

Hi GraceGFitbit. Thank you for advising on those additional steps. I managed to fix it by turning heart rate tracking from on to auto. This has now resolved the issue.

Hi, welcome to the Community forums @Res3 !
Thank you for your inquiry about the Charge 4 and for trying those troubleshooting steps.
Wrist-based Fitbit devices detect your sleep when your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your device records that you’re asleep.
You can edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
Have a great day.
