Charge 2 not connecting to any device

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I unsuccessfully tried to connect charge 2 to my new samsung phone, now it wil not connect to any device including my old phone or tablet where it worked ok previously. The screen is on the set up screen so now not showing any activity data at all. Have tried all the suggested actions, e.g. bluetooth, rebooting, reloading app. When try to connect get as far as entering the code but then the process fails.Hope you can suggest something to help.

@Jag100 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you with your unresponsive Charge 2 and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You will need to definitely setup your tracker again. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
