Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Beccisquif.
I am glad to assist you with your concern regarding your Fitbit Charge 2 is not counting all your steps. I appreciate your efforts to resolve this by doing a restart. Factors such as device placement, dominant or non-dominant hand, and stride length affect the number of steps recorded. If you feel that your step count is inaccurate, confirm the following are correct in the Fitbit app:
Please note that sometimes, when you start walking, your steps may not update on your device right away. After about 10-15 continuous steps, you'll notice the steps catch up and start updating in real time with each step you take.
You can find information about the accuracy of Fitbit devices here. For more tips about improving accuracy, see What are some tips to make sure my Fitbit daily activity is accurate?
Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?
Let me know how it goes. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
