Can someone please give me guidance on what to do. I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 telephone today and I am having difficulty pairing/syncing my Fitbit Charge 2. I had no problems with my prior phone (iPhone 6), and I have searched through discussions and can't find a solution. Can someone help me please? Thank you.

Hey @Tamara-G, welcome aboard!
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a compatible device so you shouldn't have any issue at the moment to set it up. So let me suggest you to verify the following:
- Make sure that your Charge 2 is fully charged
- Make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed on your Android
- Also, make sure that your Galaxy Note 8 has the latest operation system for Android
- Reboot the Bluetooth on your Galaxy Note 8
- Reboot your Galaxy Note 8
- If after that, your Galaxy still not recognizing the Charge 2, restart it
Let me know how it goes!
Best AnswerIf you have been using the Charge 2 and just switching phones. Make sure the old phone if around is turned off.
I'm the new phone you should only have to install the Fitbit app, log in, and agree to anything the app needs access to. You should now be good.
That is if the charge 2 was not removed from your account. You don't connect a Fitbit to a phone, it gets connected to your Fitbit account.
Best AnswerI'm having the same issues.,. Nothing works. Very disappointed. I had note 4. Wouldn't sync, thought it was my old phone, bought new galaxy note 8 and it won't sync with it either.

Hey @Devie, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community!
You shouldn't have any inconvenience at the moment to sync your Charge 2 with that phone model, because it is on the compatible devices list, so you can take advantage of all of it's features. Let me suggest you something, please restart your Charge 2 by following the instructions in this post and then try to set it up as a new device but leave it plugged into the charging cable while doing that.
Let me know if that works!
