Charge 2 not pairing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My fitbit charge 2 would not sync after trying everything (restarting phone and fitbit, turning bluetooth on and off, turning on location, reinstalling app)

I then decided to unpair my fitbit and repair it. My phone detects the device and I can punch in the 4 digit code, however after various attempts it fails to pair.

I have tried everything. I don't know if it's because the Fitbit is old or because i havent used it in 3 months?

Please help, kate

@kateboylan Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't pairing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you try clearing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

I also moved your post to the correct board.

Let me know how it goes.
