Hello @gspitler1943 welcome aboard! Let me help you with your notifications concern.

First, I'd like to clarity that our Charge 2 doesn't emit any sound when you receive a notification, it's designed to only vibrate (if this is enabled) whenever you receive a text or phone notification. Therefore, can you please let me know if you're saying that your device is not vibrating when a text notification comes in? If this is the case, please restart your Fitbit and let me know how it goes. Also, if you haven't already done so I recommend you to check our help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? for more information and details about this specific feature.

I'll be here if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

Lots of people cause Fitbit intentionally did an update to make charge 2 not work properly so you would buy charge 3.  Fitbit gives you no answers, no help but hundreds of charge 2 just stop receiving notifications around same time...ya don't think so.   Your issue wnt get resolved and you will get bull**ahem** answer from them

Hi, I started having this same problem yesterday as well. I have restarted my Fitbit, disconnected/reconnected the Bluetooth, turned on/off/on again the notifications setting, and plugged it in to charging device. I still am not receiving vibrations with texts/calls. I do still get vibrations with step goals, however. Any advice to help fix the text/call notification issue?

I am having the same problem. Suddenly, my Charge 2 is not vibrating when I receive a text or phone call. I tried restarting the Fitbit, updated the OS on my phone, and checked my notification settings. Any ideas on how to fix this? It seems to have started yesterday.

That's because Fitbit intentionally screws their customers with updates that makes the watch not work.  Fitbit sucks bigtime.   I would never buy another one

I, too, am unable to receive text or call notifications (it was working correctly and I haven't done anything new to either my iPhone or Charge 2). I have now tried every single suggestion given by various people and the moderators. After reading another post on the newest update that is being rolled out, I've already decided not to update as those folks have a plethora of other problems after they updated. I will attempt to reach out to Fitbit for a fix but it seems Fitbit now has a major problem and it may cause many of us to turn elsewhere for a new smartwatch. Too bad - I've been a Fitbit user for years.
