Charge 2 not syncing with phone

I purchased my charge 2 pretty expensive and I have had problem with it since the beginning. the updates are always tricky and cause me too much problems and my fitbit does not pair , it does not send the info to the app. I receive to call or text on my fitbit. It sometimes send the info sometimes not. sometimes when I get a call on my cell, I get a notification on the fitbit but it does not say the name of the caller or texter. It does not transfer anymore my calories, steps and other info from the device to the app. the app is also horrible. my account does not appear on the app anymore. it does not syn at all and no matter how much time I spend on that to fix the problem it does work for a few days and again the crappy problems get back again . it is not even a year that I have this and I am really tired of it. very very disappointing!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing with your account and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Regarding the calls showing the incorrect name, this issue is being investigated by the team so keep an eye to any app updates to see if this issue has been resolved.
