Charge 2 not syncing

My Fitbit charge 2 is not syncing - is there any reason why ? On turning on the app the ststem gave me a message to turn on Bluetooth , but it was already on - so i am confused .

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing. You can try the following:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

I had the same problem and followed all the suggestions I could find.  Finally out of frustration, I removed the app from my phone, shutoff/restarted the phone, added the app again... and it worked!   Good luck!
