Charge 2 not turning on

My wife's Charge 2 has developed issues where she left it on charge last night and found this morning that it hadn't charged beyond half full.

I looked this up and cleaned the contacts on the back and charger, then tried to reset it.  This is when it really developed problems, i plugged it into my laptop to try and charge it and then it started showing as quarter charged then half charged then full then back to half all over the place.  Then when i held the button in to reset it the battery and exclamation mark symbol for a critically flat battery came up, and when i released it the symbol changed back to the half full battery.

Now it is completely non responsive to either charging or button presses

Hello. My Fitbit has the same issue. It happened about a month ago now. 😔  also the heart rate sensor isn't flashing at all *or wasn't at the time* it's pretty much a brick now. 

So my Fitbit needed to be charged so I plugged it in to charge. It didnt change. So I reconnected it and it started to charge. My app told me 100% when I went to go and get it the Fitbit told me 100% when I unplugged it all of a sudden it said 25%. So I looked some things up and tried to reset it. When I did so it told me 15%. My husband tried to reset it and it never turned back on... My app kept telling me it was at 100% even though it wouldn't even turn on.

Exact same thing happened to me.  I can't get it to reset, charge or do anything.

Yes my Charge 2 is not staying charged as well.  I charged it up last night and it says it full charged on the charger.  Then I put it on and with in 1 min it was dead and won't turn back on.  What do I do?

How did you resolve this? mine has been in the charger all day?

My fitbit charge 2 is not turning on, so I put it on the charger. It tells me it is charged, I can press the button and it will show the time then press the button 30 minutes later and nothing. I had been working fine 4 days ago.

I ended up buying a new charger. No problem with Fitbit device since.

Glad you got yours to work. I nkow the charger is not the problem with mine.  It wasn't functioning correctly even with a full charge. 😞
