Charge 2 not working

I'm having real problems with my tracker this morning. I charged it yesterday and when I took it off charge the screen was blank so I restarted it. Today it is stuck on the wrong time, it won't do anything when I press the button and I can't even get it to charge so am unable to restart it again. Any ideas? Thanks

After posting this morning about my tracker not working, I got a message this evening in my app to update with new firmware. I have just done that and now all I can see on my tracker screen is a white line. Can somebody please tell me what is going on?? Everything was fine yesterday now it is completely unresponsive. IMG_20190801_203552.jpg

@ClareFarquhar, welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with your unresponsive Charge 2 and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. It seems that your tracker didn't complete the firmware update. I suggest you restart your device again and immediately retry the update.

Hi,

 

Thanks for the reply but I cannot restart it as it is completely unresponsive.  Customer Support have now told me that as the device is out of warranty all they can offer me is 25% off a new device.  As far as I am concerned Fitbit have broken what was a perfectly good tracker so there is no way I am going to spend more money buying a replacement.  So a company effectively breaks your device and then asks you to buy a new one - what a joke!  This is some of the worst customer service I think I have ever seen and I am very disappointed.  I will look at other brands from now on and will share my experience with others.
