Charge 2 notification issue

Charge 2 not receiving notifications. App says phone needs a restart to allow notifications. I have restarted phone several times but still same message appears. Deleted and reinstalled app today which allowed notifications to my device but after a short period time stopped receiving notifications and received same message in the app. Can anyone help with this issue please.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Annette1979. Thank you for mentioning that you have restarted your phone several time to allow notifications.

 

In order to remove this message:

 On your phone, go to Settings -> Battery -> Manage Apps Battery Usage -> Choose Apps find the Fitbit app and again, make sure that it is checked.

Anymore help on this topic please. I still keep getting the same message on the app. Sometimes I get notifications and then they stop.
