Charge 2's active minutes won't sync

Hi

I've had my Charge 2 about 18 months. It's always worked fine. I've set it so that my main goal is 45 active minutes a day. Yesterday I did a 4 mile walk and when I hit my 45 active minutes, the Fitbit vibrated as usual. Yesterday the Fitbit was showing how many active minutes I'd done but when I synced it with my phone, NO active minutes were registered. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, resynced. Still nothing. Everything else is recorded including the graph showing the number of minutes of fat burn and cardio, but 0 active minutes showing. Heart rate etc is showing fine.

This morning I did a 4.6 mile walk and again the number of fat burn and cardio minutes are showing in graph form, but nothing is registered as Active! Even on my phone is showing as no active minutes. Really annoying.

Please help!

@NikonBird007 I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your active minutes not showing on your account and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Is this the same activity you usually do and get active minutes for it? Are you varying the intensity for your walks/runs? Active minutes are granted for the most intense activity your tracker detects this won't equal the amount of time you do an exercise. For example if you go for a walk and do this for an hour but decide to actually jog or run for 20 minutes of that hour, your hour long activity will be detected but most likely will be awarded only 20 active minutes as these were the intense ones. You can read more about active minutes and how they are calculated here so you can compare it with your activity.

Still if you feel this isn't working as it should you can try changing your main goal to steps, save and sync then change it back to active minutes. Also restart your tracker.

Let me know how it goes.
