My husband's Charge 2 seems to be locked. The screen is stuck on the second screen (I think it's flights and hourly activity...doesn't really matter). It won't change screens. I tried putting it on the charger and pressing the reset button. Nothing.
But, the odd part is that it's still working. The app shows his steps are changing. It syncs, but the screen (on the Fitbit) still shows he's at 3,079 steps. When he hit his 15k step goal it vibrated on his wrist. But, still the screen can't be changed.
It's about a year old. Any ideas?

@PiperG, while it was on the charger, did you press & hold the side button until the Fitbit logo and firmware version number was displayed. The side button is not a reset button, but must be held until the tracker restarts.

Did you ever figure out what the deal with the fitbit was? I'm having the same trouble now. I have it on the charger and have been pressing the button, but it never reboots. Just stuck on the same screen but its still tracking.

I guess it was shot. Fitbit was kind enough to replace it since it was barely outside the one-year period.

Mine's over a year old, so I'm going to wait until the battery dies and then try rebooting it. Hopefully will work.

You have to put it on the charger and push the button while it is plugged into a computer not just the charging cube, it will then reboot. Mine is 2 years old and works every time I do this when it gets stuck.

We've all tried using the internet. We know that you have to connect to the charger, and wait for the unit to vibrate. That's the issue. The screen is locked to a certain "page" and will not come off of it. Guess I'm going to have to do the same as everyone else, and let it die before trying to charge it. Hope that a dead battery is the answer.
